Why we are using Essential Oils? This is just a serious question about the existence and entity of Organic Essential Oils, Pure and Natural OilsEssential Oils. People know plants, then know the behavior of all of them a little. They know the smell and characteristics a little, but what they don’t know? They don’t know about the extraction ofits molecules, their effect on human body and their ability to treat some disease. I am taking you in ancient time when people use only the herbs to treat some disease and cure it successfully. But now the things are changed, people have no idea about it. They wanted to be okay very soon, or just at the moment of flickering their eyelids. Aromatherapy is a growing area of interest as North America continues its search for alternative and complimentary applications of natural medicines. The use of herbal supplements in our daily lives is one excellent example of this.
We can also think over to rescue the features of oils for human wellness over here.

The Organic Certified Oils are derived from the plant material that have been grown without use of the pesticides and the growing land has been certified by any certification agency such as Ecocert, IndoCert etc Or soil association.

  1. 1 drop Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata) essential oil
  2. 1 drop Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) essential oil
  3. 2 drops Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) essential oil
  4. 2 drops Lavender (Lavandula augustifolia) essential oil
  5. 2 drops Vanilla (Vanilla planafolia) CO2 extract
  6. 3 drops German Chamomile (Matricaria recutica)
  7. 1/4 ounce Jojoba oil
Easy Cosmetic Recipe: Relaxing Aromatherapy Body Lotion

To an 8 ounce bottle of unscented body lotion, add the following aromatherapy oils, cap the bottle, and shake it thoroughly:

3 drops Lavender (Lavendula augustifolia) essential oil
2 drops Spikenard (Nardostachys jatamansi) essential oil
4 drop Neroli (Citrus aurantium bigaradia) essential oil

Intermediate Cosmetic Recipe: Nourishing Facial Serum

Combine the following aromatherapy oils in a 1 ounce dark glass bottle that has a lid with a dropper, cap the bottle, and invert it several times to mix. Only 1 or 2 drops of serum should be used for the entire face and throat area, either on its own or before applying facial lotion.

1/2 ounce Jojoba oil
1/4 ounce Evening Primrose oil
15 drops vitamin E oil
8 drops Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) essential oil
8 drops Frankincense (Boswellia carteri) essential oil
8 drops Carrot Seed (Daucus carota) essential oil

Advanced Cosmetic Recipe: Fresh Breath Lip Balm

2 tablespoons Canola oil
1 teaspoon beeswax granules
10 drops vitamin E oil
3 drops Peppermint essential oil

Heat water in a deep pot to hot but not boiling. Place beeswax into a heatproof glass measuring cup with a handle, such as a Pyrex cup, and hook the handle of the cup onto the side of the pot to form a double boiler. The bottom two inches of the heatproof cup should be submerged in water - add more water to the pot, or remove some water if necessary, to adjust to the correct level. The hot water will heat the cup and melt the beeswax. Stir the canola oil and vitamin E oil into the melted beeswax using a chopstick or some other non-metal tool. Remove the glass cup from the heat, quickly add the peppermint oil and stir. Before the mixture starts to cool and harden, pour it into empty Chapstick style lip balm containers. Allow the lip balm to harden and cool, then cap the lip balm containers.

Combine These Aromatherapy Oils:

8 drops Mandarin (Citrus reticulata) essential oil
4 drops Grapefruit (Citrus paradisi) essential oil
4 drops Jasmine (Jasminum officinale) essential oil
3 drops Roman Chamomile (Chamaemelum nobile) essential oil
2 drops Citronella (Cymbopogon nardus) essential oil

Combine essential oils in a small glass vial or bottle, shake gently to mix. Use this blend in a nebulizing diffuser or by placing a few drops on a cotton pad for passive diffusion. Mmm, summer's here!

Buying Essential Oils: Suggested Guidelines
~ Buy from Reputable Sources: It is unfortunate that essential oils are often diluted, extended, cut, or otherwise altered. Only pure, natural essential oils should be used for wellness or health purposes. Before buying essential oils, question the seller about his/her supplier. You may want to ask the seller if he/she has the oils tested by an independent lab using Gas Chromatography/Mass Spectrometry (GC/MS) to verify their purity and authenticity. Those sellers who have close communication with their suppliers, and have their oils tested, will be more likely to provide a pure product.
Common-Sense Practices for Aromatherapy Safety

~ Medical Conditions: there are many medical conditions for which some essential oils are contraindicated; if any type of medical condition exists or there is history of any medical condition, consult an authoritative resource or an experienced Aromatherapist before using any essential oil

~ Essential Oil-Drug Interactions: essential oils can interact with prescription and non-prescription drugs; depending on the oil and the drug, the drug’s actions can be either increased or reduced by an oil

~ Research the Oils: do thorough research before using any essential oil to ensure that it may be used safely

~ Dilute the Oils: use vegetable oil or carrier oils to dilute essential oils for safer topical application; use only several of essential oil per ounce of carrier oil for applications intended for healthy adults

~ Avoid Contact with Eye: essential oils are very irritating to the eyes; avoid using essential oils near the eyes, or touching the eye area with hands that may have essential oils on them

~ Store Oils Safely: keep essential oils out of reach of children and pets

~ Pregnancy & Breastfeeding: if pregnant or lactating, consult an authoritative resource or an experienced Aromatherapist before using any essential oil

~ Caution with Children: use extreme caution when applying essential oils to babies and children under 12; many oils are not suitable for babies and children, and those that are suitable should be used only in very small amounts and diluted at 2-4 times the adult dilution
